“There were a couple of kids across from me on the marble floor. It became the first life-size piece I ever did.”

George Lundeen
George Lundeen started his art career early. At age 5 he upstaged a kindergarten classmate with several of his horse drawings.
In college, he learned Italian and studied figures in Florence, Italy, on a Fulbright-Hayes scholarship.
He moved to Loveland in 1975 and had a job sweeping floors at Art Castings of Colorado, a local foundry.
Lundeen’s work is featured around the world.
